Weekly inspiration: Snow White and the Huntsman

This weeks inspiration is from the fantastic Rupert Sanders version of Snow White.

If you haven’t seen this film then I thouroughly reccommend that you do! My slight dislike for Kristen Stewart’s expressionless face aside, this is really a visually gripping film and wondeful take on the story. Even Charlize Theron’s costumes are reason enough!

There’s a lot of inspiration to take from this film, so many different characters and sets. I have decided to put together a bit of an inspiration board. At the minute there’s a lot of accessories for the home that can nod to the theme of Snow White and the Huntsman – for instance, stags are big in design right now – yes, there is a stag in the film! Also Cole & Sons birch tree wallpaper (below) is a fantastic way of bringing a bit of the forest indoors.
